At times I search myself on google to see if there are reviews and what not about projects I’ve been involved with… I happened to stumble across this the other day. This snippet was found on a Pro-Ana site; which is something I’m extremely against.
Whoever wrote this, please know that natural bodies are the best bodies because the are yours without much effort. I’m not saying not to be healthy, but don’t encourage yourself to push things too far. (I’m also not discouraging plastic surgery as I believe everyone has their own right to do as they wish with their body)
You are loved for who you are, all you need to do is open your eyes to it. I may be thin, but I’m constantly eating, and no I don’t exercise. My life is no better than yours, there are times I share the same exact thoughts as you. I stumble, fall, and get scared. I keep my friend group rather small, but I always force myself to keep the connections alive because I’m a hermit.
You can’t hold your expectations of someone’s life by what they decide to show you through social media. People only show the parts of life they want you to see. Behind that screen we really aren’t any different from one another.
